Hochschule für Gesundheitsfachberufe Eberswalde: Top Study Programs (2026/27)

The Hochschule für Gesundheitsfachberufe Eberswalde (HGE) is a private, state-recognised university of applied sciences run on a non-profit basis by the Akademie der Gesundheit Berlin/Brandenburg e.V. It was founded in 2023 and is based on Schicklerstraße in Eberswalde. Its founding extended academic training for the health professions to north-eastern Brandenburg, with the aim of recruiting skilled staff locally and securing healthcare provision in the region. The HGE offers two primary-qualifying, practice-integrated dual bachelor's programmes: Midwifery (B.Sc., seven semesters) and Nursing (B.Sc., eight semesters).
