The Hochschule Kaiserslautern, also known as the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern or HS Kaiserslautern, is a public university of applied sciences founded in 1971. With approximately 6,200 students, it is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The University has three campuses located in Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens, and ZweibrĂŒcken, offering students a diverse range of learning environments. The Kaiserslautern campus, which serves as the university's headquarters, is split between Morlauter Street and Schoenstraße, with plans to consolidate the campus at the former site of the Kammgarnspinnerei.
