The Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT) is a private business school located in Hamburg, Germany. Founded in 1998 by professors from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) with support from the Körber Foundation, the NIT has grown into a unique institution that combines technical expertise with management education.
Situated on the campus of the TUHH in Hamburg-Harburg, the NIT offers students a modern learning environment that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship. The institute's motto, "Be the Change," reflects its mission to prepare students to become responsible leaders and managers in an increasingly digital and globalised world.
The NIT offers a Master's program in Technology Management, which can be completed as a single degree (M.A. or MBA) or as a double degree in combination with an M.Sc.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)
For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
