WINGS Professional Studies: Master Programs without Admission Restriction / NC-Free (2026/27)

WINGS Professional Studies, founded in 2004 as a subsidiary of Wismar University of Applied Sciences, is a continuing education provider offering part-time and distance learning programs for over 5,200 working professionals in business, technology, and design fields. Operating as the distance learning arm of the public Hochschule Wismar, WINGS provides bachelor's and master's degrees including unique programs like Master Lighting Design and Management, MBA International Logistics and Trade, and Master Green Architecture, with students receiving official Wismar University degrees upon completion. Programs operate through online and blended learning formats designed for full-time employed professionals, typically requiring attendance at weekend seminars in Wismar or other German locations 4-6 times per semester, plus self-study modules and online coursework accommodating international students who cannot relocate to Germany. As part of a public university structure, WINGS charges tuition fees for its professional programs—higher than standard public university fees but generally lower than fully private institutions—with programs conducted primarily in German though select master's programs operate in English catering to international professionals.
