Alfter: International Programs with Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Alfter offers international students a distinctive educational experience centred around creativity and holistic development at Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences—a unique institution specialising in arts, architecture, education, and business, with a strong emphasis on integrating artistic approaches across all disciplines. The intimate learning environment fosters personalised mentorship, creative exploration, and critical thinking in ways that larger universities rarely can. Nestled in peaceful countryside just outside Bonn, the picturesque campus provides an inspiring setting for artistic work while keeping the cultural amenities, international connections, and transport links of the Rhine region within easy reach. Alanus follows an anthroposophical approach that emphasises personal growth alongside academic achievement, creating a close-knit community where diverse perspectives and unconventional paths are genuinely valued.
