Tuition-free Catholic Religious Education - Teaching Degree Comprehensive School [Gesamtschule] Programs in Germany without Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Studying Catholic religious education in comprehensive schools means guiding students of various backgrounds and abilities in their search for meaning, direction, and identity. As a teacher of religious education at a comprehensive school, you will encounter a diverse group of young people—from those who will begin vocational training to those who are pursuing their high school diploma. This diversity makes religious education particularly engaging: existential questions about where we come from, where we are going, and why are explored from a variety of perspectives.
