The electric bass is a versatile and fundamental instrument in modern music that forms the harmonic and rhythmic basis for almost all popular music styles. The course combines technical skills with a comprehensive understanding of music, from harmony and rhythm training to various playing techniques. The programme covers traditional playing techniques such as fingerstyle and plectrum technique as well as modern techniques such as slapping, tapping and extended techniques.
