Tuition-free Interaction Design Programs in Germany without Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Interaction Design programs in Germany position international students at the critical intersection where human needs meet digital possibilities, studying in a country where engineering precision extends to crafting seamless user experiences—from SAP’s enterprise platforms to Berlin’s startup-driven innovations. These English-taught degrees go far beyond interface design, training students to prototype gestural interactions, conversational AI, accessible systems, and service designs that map entire customer journeys, with a strong emphasis on systematic user research over aesthetic assumptions. Germany’s digital transformation provides living laboratories across sectors: automotive companies reimagining dashboard interactions for autonomous vehicles, banks simplifying complex financial processes, hospitals designing life-critical interfaces, Industry 4.0 factories optimizing control systems, and government agencies digitizing services.
