Religion & Politics is an interdisciplinary field that explores the complex relationship between religious beliefs, institutions, and political structures, examining how religion shapes political ideologies, influences public policy, and interacts with governance, as well as how political contexts impact religious expression. Students engage with themes such as the role of religion in political movements, the influence of religious groups on policymaking, and the challenges of secularism in diverse societies. Drawing on perspectives from political science, sociology, and religious studies, the curriculum fosters a nuanced understanding of how faith and politics intersect across different cultural and geographical contexts.
