Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg: List of all English-taught study programs (2026/27)

Founded in 1662, the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg is the oldest art academy in the German-speaking world and offers around 300 students an intimate and creative environment in the vibrant city of Nuremberg, Bavaria. It provides Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Fine Art, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Graphic Design/Visual Communication, Art Education, and Performative Practices, with a strong emphasis on individual artistic development and interdisciplinary collaboration supported by small class sizes and close mentoring from experienced professors.
