Berufsakademie Nord: List of all study programs (2026/27)

The Berufsakademie Nord (BA Nord) is a university of cooperative education in Hamburg, based on Hammer Steindamm, that specialises in practice-oriented dual study programmes in therapy and nursing. On 1 September 2024 it launched three new dual degree programmes in this field. Students can either pursue a standard dual degree or, if they have already completed vocational training in the relevant field, combine their studies with employment. At the centre of the portfolio is the Bachelor of Science in Applied Therapy and Nursing Science, which covers nursing, physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.

It is offered in two formats: a training-integrated track over 48 months or a practice-integrated track over 24 months. Teaching follows a hybrid model, so students can choose to attend in person or join online. An Abitur is not strictly required: the programmes are also open to experienced professionals who pass an entrance examination.
