Students at the GUC Berlin Branch have the opportunity to study in English while immersed in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany. This unique experience allows them to pursue their academic goals and gain valuable life experience during their stay in the German capital. All courses offered at the Berlin branch are fully integrated with the curricula of the home university in Cairo.
Professor Dr Ashraf Mansour, GUC's founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, says: "There is no more important and rewarding investment than in the education of individuals who are willing to put their knowledge at the service of the community, their country and the international community in which we are all involved.
GUC Berlin's academic programmes and courses are taught entirely in English by distinguished German and international professors and lecturers. The university uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) to develop internationally compatible curricula, promote student mobility and ensure high standards of quality and transparency in recognition procedures. In addition, the semester exchange and masters programmes offered at the branch are accredited by the Accreditation Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN).
Students at the GUC Berlin Branch benefit from a practice-oriented teaching approach and a strong emphasis on the unity of teaching and research, in line with the Alexander von Humboldt principle. Small class sizes ensure personal attention and promote interaction and understanding between students and faculty. Students also have access to an intensive German language programme, modern campus facilities and equipment, and a wide range of engaging extracurricular activities.
