About the International Graduate Center

The International Graduate Center (IGC) was founded in 2004 by HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences as an interdisciplinary graduate school for management and leadership. IGC offers young professionals with a first university degree and professional experience from worldwide academic continuing education in the Master and MBA fields in English. Team-oriented lectures and seminars in small groups with a maximum of 25 students facilitate a constructive dialogue among all participants. Many of the lecturers come from management positions of top companies and provide the students with an insight into different companies and fields of business.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
