Katholische Stiftungshochschule München - University of Applied Sciences: List of all tuition-free study programs (2026/27)

Katholische Stiftungshochschule München (KSH München/Catholic University of Applied Sciences Munich), founded in 1971, is a private church-affiliated university with 2,500 students specializing in social work, nursing, healthcare management, early childhood education, and religious education in Munich, Bavaria. This Catholic institution offers bachelor's and master's programs focused on social and healthcare professions, operating under church sponsorship with curricula integrating Catholic social teaching and ethics into professional training, requiring openness to religious perspectives though not necessarily Catholic faith for admission. Located in Munich, Germany's most expensive city with living costs averaging €1,000-1,500 monthly, the university charges private tuition fees while maintaining church subsidies that keep costs below fully private institutions, though still substantially higher than public universities offering similar programs. Programs conducted primarily in German require C1-C2 proficiency given the communication demands in social work and healthcare fields, with practical training integrated through mandatory internships in Catholic and secular social institutions, hospitals, and educational facilities throughout Bavaria.
