The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH Amberg-Weiden), also known as the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden, is a young and dynamic public university of applied sciences located in the heart of Eastern Bavaria, Germany. Founded in 1994, the university has experienced remarkable growth and development, with over 3,800 students enrolled in its four faculties. OTH Amberg-Weiden is located on two campuses in the cities of Amberg and Weiden, approximately 40 kilometres apart. The Amberg campus is home to the faculties of Mechanical and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Media and Computer Science, while the Weiden campus is home to the faculties of Business Administration and Industrial Engineering.
