The Dresden College of Church Music is a state-recognized institution of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony, founded in 1949 and located on the scenic KĂ€the-Kollwitz-Ufer in Dresden, Germany. With around 600 students, it offers an intimate learning environment and a comprehensive curriculum in church music, including organ, choral conducting, composition, and liturgical studies. Known for its strong practical focus, the College provides students with valuable performance opportunities through collaborations with leading ensembles such as the Staatskapelle Dresden, Semperoper, and Dresden Philharmonic. Guided by accomplished faculty closely connected to the Evangelical Lutheran Church, students benefit from both academic excellence and active engagement in the church music community.
