Tuition-free Aerospace Informatics Programs in Germany without Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Studying aerospace informatics is worthwhile because it combines computer science and software engineering with the specific requirements of the aerospace industry—a field in which software is increasingly critical to flight safety, mission success, and efficiency. The program teaches the fundamentals of software development, embedded systems, data processing, and simulation, and combines these with specialized knowledge in aerospace engineering, such as flight dynamics, avionics, satellite systems, and mission planning. Students learn to design, test, and optimize complex software systems for aircraft, satellites, drones, or spacecraft—for example, for navigation, communication, data analysis, or autonomous control systems.
