Chinese - Teacher Education Academic Secondary Education [Gymnasium] International Programs in Germany: Application Deadlines (2026/27)

Studying Chinese to become a high school teacher means teaching one of the world's most important languages and giving students access to a culture that is having a significant impact on the 21st century. China is no longer just an emerging economic power, but a global player in politics, science, and technology—and interest in the language is growing steadily in German schools as well. As a Chinese teacher, you teach much more than just characters and grammar: you introduce young people to a completely different way of thinking, teach them to decipher complex character systems, and promote intercultural understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.
