Overview Deadlines

Germany provides an excellent setting for studying Communication Psychology, building on the country's strong academic heritage in psychological research and its highly developed media and corporate landscape. German universities offer rigorous, evidence-based programs that explore how people process, interpret, and respond to messages—covering areas such as interpersonal communication, persuasion and attitude change, nonverbal behavior, group dynamics, and the psychological effects of media consumption. Students learn to apply these insights across diverse contexts, from organizational communication and conflict resolution to advertising effectiveness, health campaigns, and digital interaction design.

Most Selective Communication Psychology Programs

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
