Frisistics Bachelor Programs in Germany: Application Deadlines (2026/27)

Germany provides a unique setting for studying Frisistics (Frisistik), offering students access to specialized research into one of Europe's lesser-known Germanic languages and cultures. At German universities, particularly in northern regions close to Frisian-speaking areas, you'll explore the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the Frisian people while studying at institutions that maintain close connections with Frisian communities. The program combines intensive language training in various Frisian dialects with comprehensive cultural and historical studies, allowing students to work with rare Frisian texts and documents while learning from scholars who actively contribute to Frisian language preservation efforts.
