Studying social studies for secondary school teaching means combining political and social expertise with pedagogical skills in order to educate students to become mature and responsible citizens. The program covers topics from political science, sociology, economics, and contemporary history, as well as teaching methodology and educational sciences, and specifically prepares students for teaching at secondary schools. Students learn to explain political processes in an understandable way, critically analyze current social issues, and moderate discussions constructively.
