The European University of Flensburg (EUF) is a public institution located in Germany's northernmost city on the Danish border. Established in 1946 as a teacher training college, it was upgraded to university status in 1994. It has 5,000 students. This specialized university primarily focuses on teacher education, training approximately 40% of Schleswig-Holstein's teachers, alongside programs in European studies, international management, energy and environmental management, and the humanities.
