Study Literature and Media Studies at European University Viadrina (2026/27)

The European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) is one of Germany's most international universities, sitting at the intersection of Eastern and Western Europe and shaping research and teaching on the digital transformation of European society. Founded in 1991 after reunification, it draws a large share of students from Poland and across the continent. Three faculties – Law, Business and Economics, and Cultural Studies – are complemented by the European New School of Digital Studies (ENS), the university's central institution for transdisciplinary research and teaching on digital transformation. The Viadrina stays deliberately small, favouring close contact between students and lecturers over mass lectures.

Its cross-border setup is unique: through the Collegium Polonicum, run jointly with Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań, study and research reach directly across the Oder into Słubice. For anyone interested in European integration, intercultural work, the digital transformation of European society, or law and economics with an international angle, the Viadrina is a distinctive choice.
