HECTOR School of Engineering and Management: Top Study Programs (2026/27)

The HECTOR School of Engineering and Management is the Technology Business School of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). It is named after Dr Hans-Werner Hector, one of the co-founders of SAP. The school combines cutting-edge technological expertise with management know-how and prepares working professionals for leadership roles in industry through part-time programmes. At its core are six English-taught executive master's programmes (M.Sc.): Management of Product Development, Information Systems Engineering & Management, Mobility Systems Engineering & Management, Energy Engineering & Management, Financial Engineering, and Production & Operations Management. Each programme consists of ten two-week modules in Karlsruhe, split evenly between engineering and management, followed by a master's thesis carried out as a project in the participant's own company. Graduates earn a Master of Science from KIT worth 90 ECTS credits. The HECTOR School also offers certificate courses and customised continuing education programmes for companies.
