The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (OTH Regensburg), founded in 1971, is one of Bavaria’s largest universities of applied sciences with over 10,000 students. Just steps away from Regensburg’s UNESCO-listed old town and the iconic Stone Bridge, its modern campus combines award-winning facilities with practice-oriented programs in engineering, business, design, architecture, health, and social sciences. The university is particularly renowned for applied research in energy and mobility, digitalisation, sensor technology, and life sciences, working closely with industry to drive innovation. International partnerships and double degree options—such as with the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia—offer students valuable global opportunities, while mentoring programmes, orientation weeks, and strong support services ensure a smooth start to student life.
