The Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (HTW Saar), also known as Saarbrücken University of Applied Sciences, is a public university of applied sciences founded in 1946 and today counts over 6,000 students, making it one of the largest of its kind in Germany. Located in Saarbrücken, the university offers modern facilities in an urban setting and is known for its broad range of programmes in business, architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, social sciences and especially Franco-German studies.
