Applied Mathematics - Dual Studies International Programs in Germany: Application Deadlines (2026/27)

Dual studies in Applied Mathematics combine rigorous academic training in analysis, statistics, numerical methods, and mathematical modeling with paid practical experience in companies where quantitative thinking drives real decisions — from financial institutions and insurance firms to engineering companies, technology startups, and consulting organizations. Rather than spending years mastering abstract theory before encountering its applications, you develop mathematical fluency and professional problem-solving skills in parallel, continuously moving between the precision of academic study and the complexity of live business and technical challenges. Germany's strength across industries that depend heavily on mathematical expertise — from its globally competitive engineering and automotive sectors to its expanding data science and financial services landscape — makes this an exceptionally rich environment for dual students, offering placement opportunities that span an unusually broad range of industries and problem domains.
