International Japanese - Teacher Education Academic Secondary Education [Gymnasium] Master Programs in Germany (2026/2027)

Studying Japanese to become a high school teacher means giving students access to a fascinating language and culture that many young people are already enthusiastic about through anime, manga, and video games. As a Japanese teacher, you can harness this enthusiasm and introduce young people to a language that presents its own unique challenges with its three writing systems—hiragana, katakana, and kanji. You not only teach language skills, but also a deep understanding of a culture that uniquely combines tradition and high-tech, aesthetics and innovation.
