Studying Turkish to become a high school teacher means teaching students a language that is spoken by millions of people in Germany and builds bridges between cultures. As a Turkish teacher, you enable young people—whether they have Turkish roots or not—to gain a solid understanding of a rich language and culture that has shaped life in Germany for decades. For students with a Turkish background, the lessons offer the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of their native language at an academic level, while others get to know Turkey as an important bridge between Europe and Asia.
