The Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (HfWU), officially known as the Nürtingen-Geislingen University, is a public university of applied sciences founded in 1949. With an enrollment of over 5,000 students, it is a medium-sized institution located in the cities of Nürtingen and Geislingen an der Steige, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The university has two main campuses, one in the urban setting of Nürtingen and the other in the more suburban setting of Geislingen. Both campuses are conveniently located close to the Stuttgart metropolitan region, one of Germany's major business centres, providing students with numerous opportunities for industry collaborations and work placements.
