Overview Deadlines

The Ruhr Campus Academy (RCA) is a non-profit subsidiary of the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) that provides academic continuing education for working professionals. It was founded in 2001 to let university members run continuing education programmes without bureaucratic or organisational overhead. The RCA takes care of the organisation, so that instructors can focus entirely on content and teaching. The academy launched in early 2002 with a master's programme in Business Informatics and a certificate course in grief counselling, both of which are still offered today.

RCA NC: Glossary

Numerus Clausus (NC)
This Latin term means “limited number” and indicates that a program has restricted admission. In other words, not all applicants can be accepted, so selection is usually based on grades or other criteria when demand exceeds available spots.
