Ecosystem Sciences (or Ecosystem Ecology) is the field that studies all living and non-living components of an ecosystem and their interactions within. It is a multidisciplinary subject with the ultimate goal rely on creating a better understanding of sustainable production of forage, fiber, and fuel, providing water, and articulating the functional processes relating to climate and environment. This means that students will develop a powerful and useful framework for identifying ecological mechanisms that interact with global environmental problems.
