These communities are primarily located in Eastern, Central, and Southeastern Europe, as well as parts of Northern Asia. Slavistics is inherently interdisciplinary, encompassing linguistics, literary analysis, history, anthropology, and cultural studies.

Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course.
