Institute for Law and Finance (ILF)
The Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) is a distinguished center for academic excellence in both teaching and research. Founded in 2002 as a non-profit foundation by the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, the ILF has garnered support from a plethora of eminent institutions. This includes leading commercial banks, international law firms, the Federal Ministry of Finance, Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), the State of Hesse, the European Central Bank, and the Deutsche Bundesbank.
The ILF's mission encompasses academic teaching, research, and a supportive role as a policy center established through a private-public-partnership. It offers interdisciplinary training to lawyers, senior management, and executives both in Germany and globally.
