Founded in 2004, Goethe Business School (GBS) is the exclusive education platform for executives and professionals at Goethe University Frankfurt. Located on one of Germany's most modern campuses in the heart of Frankfurt, Europe's financial centre, GBS offers an innovative portfolio of part-time Masters programmes, open certificate courses and customised corporate programmes.

GBS is closely associated with Goethe University's renowned Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a testament to the Faculty's commitment to excellence and the optimisation of academic standards. The school focuses its teaching on key areas such as finance and risk management, leadership and personal development, management and strategy, and digital transformation.

GBS currently offers three part-time master's programmes: a Master in Finance, a Goethe MBA (Digital Transformation, Data Science, Sustainability) and a Pharma MBA. These programmes are designed for working professionals who want to gain further qualifications without interrupting their careers. The school also runs a full-time Master in Global Finance & Economics programme in partnership with the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) in Vietnam.

All GBS master's programmes are run on behalf of Goethe University Frankfurt and are accredited under Hessian law to ensure high quality programme delivery and teaching. The Master in Finance programme was ranked #1 in Germany in the 2022/2023 Eduniversal Corporate Finance Rankings.
