Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (2026/27)

Overview Deadlines

The Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) claims to be the leading International Business School for the region Neu-Ulm/Ulm, located in the Bavarian part of Swabia, in the South of Germany, and to shape the future by innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship and digital transformation: „We educate future managers and specialists who have international experience, think in terms of results and act responsibly.”

Founded in 1994, the HNU is a modern and innovative university with more than 3,900 students enrolled at one of the three faculties of Health Management, Information Management and Business and Economincs or at the Centre for Postgraduate Studies.

An essential component of all degree programmes are business studies, which are, depending on the degree programme, combined with technology, design, IT or healthcare management. The students are prepared industry-specifically to management positions. In dual curricula, like the studies with intensive practical experience or the co-operative studies based on the Ulm Model, specialized knowledge is passed on to the students and thus prepares them for the demands of working life.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
