Germany stands at the forefront of Greek Studies, offering students access to one of the world's most distinguished traditions in Hellenic scholarship and classical education. At German universities, you'll explore ancient and modern Greek culture while studying in institutions that have shaped classical studies since the time of Wilhelm von Humboldt. The program combines intensive language training in both ancient and modern Greek with comprehensive cultural studies, allowing students to work with rare manuscripts and artifacts while learning from scholars who maintain strong connections with Greek academic institutions.
