If you are interested in solving problems in the real world this might be the right program for you. The Public Policy field of study is about teaching the tools to make the right decisions over how to act in face of political, economic, social, or cultural issues – typically created or enacted by governments, nonprofit organizations, or consulting firms. Students will learn how to conceptualize the different cycles of the policy pathway (such as agenda-setting, formulation, legitimation, implementation, and evaluation) while also engaging with instruments such as statistical analysis, literature review, interview making, policy writing, etc. A deeply interdisciplinary subject, courses here draw their attention to history, politics, economics, data science, and much more.
