International Sign Language Interpreting Programs in Germany without Admission Restriction / NC-Free (2026/27)

Germany stands as an excellent destination for studying Sign Language Interpreting, offering students access to one of Europe's most progressive environments for deaf culture and sign language education. At German universities, you'll engage with comprehensive interpreter training while studying in a country that recognizes German Sign Language (Deutsche Gebärdensprache, DGS) as an official language and maintains high professional standards for interpreters. The program combines intensive sign language acquisition with advanced interpreting techniques, allowing students to work with both deaf and hearing communities while learning from experienced interpreters and deaf professionals.
