Students can specialize in East, South, or Southeast Asian studies while combining courses on regional history, socio-political developments, literature, religion, and art with intensive language training in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, or Indonesian. Many universities collaborate with partner institutions across Asia, providing opportunities for study abroad, fieldwork, and internships with cultural organizations, NGOs, or international agencies.
