Molecular Sciences is an incredibly exciting interdisciplinary field focusing on the structure, properties and interactions of molecules — the fundamental building blocks of matter — across chemistry, biology and physics. Students will explore fascinating topics such as molecular synthesis, spectroscopy, crystallography, molecular modelling and nanotechnology, discovering the incredible processes that drive life, materials and chemical reactions. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with extensive laboratory training to prepare students to apply molecular principles in areas such as drug development, materials design, environmental science, and renewable energy.
