Affiliate Links & Partnerships

Some of the links on the website may be affiliate links. This means that if you click on the link and buy an item, MyGermanUniversity will receive a small commission for the sale through this link. However, this will not incur any additional costs for you!

StudyFinder: Why some profiles are displayed in a prominent way

We always display all relevant study programs automatically and free of charge (while some competitors only include the study programs in their database if the universities pay for them). Nevertheless, of course, we also have to earn money to keep our platform online. Therefore, universities can pay to have their profiles featured, making them more attractive. These profiles marked as "Advertising" are easy to spot, as they add some color to the results list and contain additional content such as videos and images.

The sorting shows ads of universities we partner with preferentially, i.e., they are usually displayed higher, and with additional content (colors, photos, videos) than the profiles of universities we do not partner with yet. Other factors that influence the sorting are the attractiveness of the course (click-through rate), the total number of course website clicks, and the order of application deadlines. 

In this way, we help individual universities stand out from the crowd and make a good first impression, but beyond that, we don't want to influence your decision. Please feel free to go for any study program listed in our database — regardless of whether it’s featured or not. 

StudyFinder: List of Universities we partner with

MyGermanUniversity partners with more than 100 German universities that promote their study programs through our platform - cf. the list of partner universities at the end of this page. StudyFinder: Info package requests

For some profiles, you can request an info package by filling out a form. For the establishment of contact and the transmission of your request, we usually receive a small service fee - which can be either based on the lead or the actual enrollment. If you decide to apply to the respective university, we will, of course, be happy. But you can just as well decide against it. At MyGermanUniversity, we see ourselves as partners of all German universities - not only the ones that we partner with.

StudyFinder: Testimonials

Some profiles on our StudyFinder contain testimonials that reflect the experiences of individual students/alumni on the study program in question.  However, these are individual experiences, and in no way claim to reflect the experiences of others. They do not guarantee that the program in question is right for you.

Webinars

In our webinars, we regularly host German universities that present their degree programs. The selection of the universities is made by our editorial team and does not include any recommendation or evaluation. Some universities receive participation in the webinars as part of a paid marketing cooperation. However, we also invite universities to present themselves free of charge. Regardless of this, you are of course free to decide which university you want to apply to — regardless of whether they were our guests in the webinar or not.

We do not provide legal advice

The information provided on the website or our other channels (e.g. emails, videos and webinars) — in particular on the topics of university admission and visa — is for general information purposes only and does not constitute an alternative to legal advice from your lawyer, another professional service provider or an expert.
